Writing, 'The World We Live In Part 3' of this series was interesting. I say this because I knew that I’d have to write more emotion into these characters. This was the book where characters fully had to deal with what’s happened to them. They had to face old demons again and relive a lot of what they went through.
A lot of characters are still in the denial part of their lives where they have to look in the mirror at themselves and face reality. I had to go back to the previous books and read through the characters to refresh what I wrote. After that, it was continuing the story from where I left off and showing growth in these characters.
Not all growth is necessarily good, some of it is bad to get to good down the line. If I’m not mistaken, this was the longest book of the series so we can say that, “I put my all into it.” There had to be a sense of urgency and to keep you the reader wondering what happens next. That’s the goal of writing a book series that will make you feel and relate to at least one character.
My notes are scrambled everywhere, sometimes it takes that to get organized and know how to solidify the book you're writing.
